What we are learning

Blend two and three sounds to read a whole word.

You will need: Pencil, Sound cards (optional)

Warm-up

Robot talk: say a word in sounds like a robot (m-a-p) and children say the whole word back. Swap roles.

1Slow then fast

Read the sounds slowly, then say them fast. Write the word.
